Get Him To The Greek...Rock On!!

This movie did exactly what it needed to do....make you laugh!! I could not ask for any more. And to be honest I didn't expect anymore either. I knew from the trailer that this was going to be a hit, no doubt. For those that are fans of films like Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Pineapple Express, Superbad, and other Apatow troop films, this is definitely the movie for you.

What could be better than watching a film about a record company intern Allen Green (Jonah Hill) who is given the task of getting a washed up rock star Aldous Snow to the Greek Theater in LA for a 10th anniversary concert. Of course this is easier said than done, and a journey is bound to happen. Trust me when I say the laughs continuously flow through this movie. I will give this warning, be aware there are a few exceptionally uncomfortable scenes, but once you get past it you will understand that its just part of the film.

Now the cast, you couldn't ask for a better one than Jonah Hill, Russell Brand and Sean "Diddy" Combs. Their chemistry is near perfect! In particular, Diddy who plays Sergio pretty much steals the show, pretty much every scene he is in is down right hilarious you can't help but just wanna laugh every time he speaks. Now what can I say about Russell Brand (Aldous Snow), all he has to do is be himself and he is on point. Brand does not disappoint with his crude humor and realistic charm and personality. Jonah Hill (Allen Green) hits the target again with this one too. In a sense he kind of steps outside of his comfort zone by playing the guy with a somewhat low self-esteem issue. You almost kind of feel sorry for him, hoping he just makes it through to the end. They all work very well, a definite cohesive unit!

By the end of the movie I was dying of laughter. I probably would have fell out my seat, but it was constantly spinning and moving.

The perfect summer comedy!
