For All My Jazz Folks in LA!!

Ebony Repertory Theatre is proud to announce our new partnership with the Playboy Jazz Festival. For over 20 years, Playboy's Jazz on Film night has been held for one night only at the Los Angeles County Musuem of Art on Wilshire Boulevard.

This very special evening of rare jazz footage will now take place at the Nate Holden Performng Arts Center. As an added bonus to our community stakeholders, we have secured a very special SNEAK PEEK EVENING OF RARE JAZZ ON FILM PROGRAMMING, on June 9 2010, exclusively for our community. Now that COMMUNITY NIGHT has been secured, we need the "Community" to show up in large numbers. This evening is FREE for all who attend. Please RSVP your ticket reservation(s) to swheeler@ebonyrep.org

We will feature the work of artists who performed at these clubs such as Thelonious Monk and Dexter Gordon and film appearances by such notables as Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Louis Armstrong, Mel Torme, Dinah Washington and many, many more.
