Is Car selling this Funny?!

If you like Talledega Nights and Step Brothers this will definitely be a flick for you to see! The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard is a 2009 comedy film that will have you cracking up from the minute the film starts. This all-star cast including Jeremy Piven, James Brolin, Ving Rhames, and David Koechner just to name a few show you how its done when it comes to selling cars!

In a desperate attempt to save his rapidly failing used car dealership, Ben Selleck hires a crack team of "car mercenaries" to ramp up sales during the Fourth of July weekend. Led by the fast-talking, foul-mouthed, self-assured Don "The Goods" Ready, the group has three days to sell over 200 cars. But as Don undertakes his newest mission, and quickly falls for the boss's daughter Ivy, he realizes he'll have to trust more than his cars and his crafty skills in deceit to make a success out of the daunting weekend.

When it all boiled down that best sums up this flick. There is no rhyme or reason just simple and straight to the point. The Goods is just one of those pointless films that really has no plot, but it makes you laugh. And sometimes in this world that is good enough.

Now I will say this, Piven's performance is one to be expected but at least he does not let you down though. As a matter of fact all the actors add an essential piece to the movie, making it one of a kind. One of the highlights is the movie is really not that long (89 mins), but it also has several twist and turns with each of its intriguing characters to keep your attention.

I will admit this, it's not the funniest movie this year, but it does make a good attempt at trying. This is the type of movie STRICTLY for adults. The humor and conversation is made for those who have pretty much lived their life already.
