Friday Releases 7/17/2010

Check out what is set to hit theaters on friday:

Inception (PG-13):
Warner Bros. presents the new film by The Dark Knight's Christopher Nolan, this one taking on a sci-fi psychological spin for the serious-minded action auteur, with Leonardo DiCaprio spearheading the cast.

The Socerer's Apprentice (PG):
Inspired by the beloved segment of the Walt Disney classic Fantasia, The Sorcerer's Apprentice moves the setting of the story to modern-day Manhattan, where decidedly average teen Dave Stutler (Jay Barachel) hones his magical powers under the tutelage of master sorcerer Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage).

Kisses (NR):
Two young runaways living on the fringes of Dublin who discover both beauty and danger in the big city.

Standing Ovation (PG):
Inspired by a music-video contest with a million-dollar prize, five young classmates form a music group called ``The 5 Ovations.'' Despite their limited resources, these street-smart teens have the skill and passion to create awesome song-and-dance numbers, and have a real shot at victory. Standing in their way, however, are ``The Wiggies,'' five rich and unscrupulous sisters who will stop at nothing to win the contest.

The Wild Hunt (NR):
A medieval re-enactment turns to a tragedy when a guy intervenes to win back his girlfriend.
