Such Passion in the "New Moon"

Let me first say that author Stephanie is a genius for turning her "Twilight" series into a film one as well. This assures me more and more that I need to read the books as well.

In the New Moon, we continue the saga and life of Bella Swan. After recovering a vampire attack that almost claims her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and the rest of the Cullen family.

With new dangers, new friends and new enemies, Bella is placed with choosing between holding on to the past or potentially accepting a new future. More importantly she has a major decision to make, who will she choose? In addtion, we as the audience must also choose at this point whether we are "Team Edward" or "Team Jacob". You can't help but feel what the characters in the film are feeling. That's why I say there is so much passion that explodes from each of the roles. We are given another opportunity to explore deeper into the journey of Bella and her twisted and shaken up life.

The film is definitely a beautiful script with heart-wrenching moments. Think of it like this, New Moon is the part in which we discover the conflict and the bonding that results from it. And one cannot deny the presence of the wolves. The CGI is pure genius, they are so life-like you can almost read their thoughts and emotions. There is alot of transformation physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Now I will say there is somewhat of a wrong message for those not mature enough to understand (ages 10-14). I would hope that no woman thinks it is ok to swing back and forth in this love affair and think it is ok. However, this is fantasy so there is the idea of being trapped "in-between" love.

I will give some credit to the movie, to those who are newcomers you are able to see the art of fantasy elevated to another level. I find it quite intriguing and somewhat entertaining. Now I do not profess to be a Twilight fanatic but I am taking baby steps of being engulfed in the "Twilight-mainia". And from what I heard this movie sticks pretty close to the book, so that should not disappoint the Twilight readers. Just know after leaving the theater, it will definitely leave you wanting more!!
