Possible Spider-Man 4 and 5...

The spidey guy might just be making a comeback or two, to the silverscreen. I hope it is much better than that last looooong one. They lost me on that last one.

Director Sam Raimi has teased out a bit about one of the shooting locations for "Spider-Man 4". In an article written for The Oakland Press, the 49-year-old filmmaker revealed his hope on filming some scenes of the superhero movie in his home state of Michigan. "I'll be looking at Michigan for our second-unit photography on the new 'Spider-Man' film," he said as quoted.

The fourth installment of "Spider-Man" series, "Spider-Man 4" has been reported to be shot back-to-back with "Spider-Man 5". It teams up once again director Sam Raimi and lead actor Tobey Maguire. While it is still uncertain whether Kirsten Dunst will reprise her role as Mary Jane Watson, actor J.K. Simmons has recently hinted on his return as obnoxious Daily Bugle publisher J. Jonah Jameson. And we might be seeing Morbius as the Spider-Man 4 villain. The superhero movie is expected to begin production in 2010 with the aim of 2011 U.S. release.

The planned fourth and fifth installments could've been based around at least one of the characters from the third installment: Venom. Any true follower of Spider-Man knows that Venom is his greatest nemesis and he deserves his own installment just as Green Goblin and Dr. Octopus were granted.

If I were the writer of the Spider-Man movie series, the third installment would've been about Goblin, the fourth installment would've been about Sand Man, and the fifth and grand installment would be about my boy Venom and maybe even Carnage thrown in for added appeal.

The third installment of 2007 had five plots crammed into one lackluster drawn out script and I was completely dissatisfied. Hopefully Raimi will redeem himself with the proposed future installments.
