New Sherlock Holmes film

Its has been quite some time since the big-screen has done a Sherlock Holmes project and it looks like this new portrayal might be the saving grace.

"Sherlock Holmes", the first major big-screen version of "Sherlock Holmes" in more than 20 years has been undergoing production for quite some time now. The principal photography has been moved from the streets of London to Brooklyn last month, and it is expected to wrap sometime this week. To bring up a new portrayal of Arthur Conan Doyle's most famous characters, the movie will see Sherlock Holmes and his partner Dr. Watson on their latest challenge. Having lethal fighting skills in addition to his legendary intellect, Holmes attempts to bring down a new nemesis and unravel a deadly plot that could destroy the country.

Directed by Guy Ritchie, the Warner Bros. film is due for a November 13 U.S. release. It appears as though it will be starring Robert Downey, Jr. (Tropic Thunder and Iron Man), Jude Law (The Holiday, Talented Mr. Ripley), and Rachel McAdams (Mean Girls, The Notebook).
