A Delta Red Carpet Event

The National Commission on Arts and Letters of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is embarking on a new major initiative, Project ART: Actively Redefining Together. Project ART is a collective effort to support, nurture and uplift positive programming while rejecting demeaning and harmful images in all forms of entertainment and media - music, film, radio, television and print.

Come on out and join the local DST Alumnae Chapters and support this National Initiative by attending a viewing of the new movie Not Easily Broken based on the novel written by Bishop T. D. Jakes. The film, directed by the critically acclaimed Bill Duke and starring the very talented Morris Chestnut and Taraji P. Henson, is scheduled for release on January 9, 2009.

Not Easily Broken is a story of a young couple facing life’s struggles ; a man trying to be a good husband and role model and a woman struggling to balance her needs for a career and family. I encourage you to go out and see the movie on opening night, or at minimum during the first weekend. In order to view the movie trailer and to obtain your local showtimes, visit http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/noteasilybroken/site/ or http://www.moviefone.com/movie/not-easily-broken/33542/main

Come out and show your support for this great initiative!!!

Love ya Sorors!!
