The theme for World AIDS Day 2010 is 'Universal Access and Human Rights'. Global leaders have pledged to work towards universal access to HIV and AIDS treatment, prevention and care, recognizing these as fundamental human rights.

• 31.3 million adults
• 15.7 million women
• 2.1 million children under 15
• More people than ever are living with HIV in the UK and each year new infections occur. 

What can YOU do?

• GET TESTED!  GET TREATED!
• Educate yourself about AIDS in any way possible--books, websites, and speaking to people with first hands accounts
• Promote World AIDS Day to others via your social networks
• Donate to the aid, research and cure efforts
