Here are this weekend's feature flicks...
Tron: Legacy (PG):
Tron: Legacy is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.
Yogi Bear (PG):
Hanna-Barbera's beloved picnic-basket-stealing bear makes his big-screen debut in this live-action/animated mix children's pic from director Eric Brevig (Journey to the Center of the Earth). Brad Copeland provides the screenplay, which centers around a documentary crew (headed by Anna Faris) as they delve into the goings-on of Jellystone Park, home to Yogi the Bear and Boo Boo (voiced by Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake, respectively).
How Do You Know (PG-13):
Feeling a bit past her prime at 27, former athlete Lisa Jorgenson finds herself in the middle of a love triangle, as a corporate guy in crisis competes with Lisa's current, baseball-playing beau.
The Fighter (R):
The Fighter, is a drama about boxer "Irish" Micky Ward's unlikely road to the world light welterweight title. His Rocky-like rise was shepherded by half-brother Dicky, a boxer-turned-trainer who rebounded in life after nearly being KO'd by drugs and crime.
And Soon the Darkness (R):
When two American girls on a bike trip in a remote part of Argentina split up and one of them goes missing, the other must find her before her worst fears are realized.
Casino Jack (R):
A hot shot Washington DC lobbyist and his protégé go down hard as their schemes to peddle influence lead to corruption and murder.
Frankie and Alice (R):
A woman (Halle Berry) who has multiple personality disorder deals with her racist side.
Rabbit Hole (PG-13):
Eight months after the accidental death of their 4-year-old son, Howie (Aaron Eckhart) and Becca (Nicole Kidman) are trying to overcome their grief. He wants to hold on to everything that reminds him of Danny, while she would rather sell their home and make a fresh start. Cracks begin to appear in the relationship as Howie bonds with a member of his therapy group and Becca reaches out to a teenage boy with telling facial scars.
