So just a few weeks ago we were told that Joaquin Phoenix would be retiring from Hollywood and now we have another actress who may be following suit. It has been reported that "Changeling" star Angelina Jolie will be fading away into the mist of which we call Hollywood. As told to BBC with having six children to watch over she would like to gradually end her craft so that she can spend more time raising her family. Now she does not plan to completely leave the art but just to not have such an active participation in acting.
She has also clarified that there is no real "cutoff point" and that she has not made any pledge to completely stop acting. Jolie, who stars in the movie "Changeling" from director Clint Eastwood, said she has not worked on a movie for a year. Apart from starting a project in February, she said that she will probably not work again for another year (Yahoo! Movies). "So maybe it will be once a year and then maybe it will be once every three years, and then just naturally -- I like being home a lot these days," Jolie told the BBC.
To be so young and to slowly step away from a lucrative career. However, I will admit she does stay active in numerous other roles, so I can't knock her if she would like to take some time to reflect on her life and motherhood!!
