New Film Alert..."35 and Ticking"!!

Be on the lookout for the upcoming romantic comedy film '35 and Ticking' currently filming in Los Angeles.

Written and Directed by Russ Parr it stars Nicole Ari Parker, Tamala Jones, Kevin Hart, Keith Robinson, Meagan Good, Mike Epps, Kym Whitley, Clifton Powell, Jill Marie Jones, Dondre Whitfield,and Aaron D. Spears.

According to executive producer Kym Whitley, "It's a feel-good film about four friends that grew up together and how one of them wants to be married with children. Sometimes you are looking for love, but don't realize that the love of your life was your friend all along."

All struggling to build the families they've always dreamed of., in addition to trying to rectify their romantic lives and futures while their biological clocks keep ticking away.

Imagine this.... "A funeral ceremony turns into a debacle of exposed family secrets and misplaced bodies."

This movie is a remake of a 2007 movie of the same name, Death at a Funeral (2007). Although Hollywood has a history of making American versions of foreign films, the original versions are usually in a language other than English. This is not the case here, however, since the original film was a British production and filmed in English, with an American director (who was, as it happens, born in England) and several American actors (including Peter Dinklage, who repeats his role in the remake). This is a very unusual case of a remake being made very quickly of an English-language movie that had a theatrical release in the US (albeit not a very successful one) (IMDB)

Set to hit theaters April 16th, 2010.
