Black Music Month 2011: A VH1 Doc "Urban Soul: The Making of Modern R&B"

Gotta keep the celebration of Black Music Month going, and today I wanted to feature a 2004 VH1 documentary titled Urban Soul: The Making of Modern R&B. This seven-part documentary showcases my favorite genre of music...R&B!!

Director John Akomfrah would put together, URBAN SOUL a groundbreaking cinesonic journey through contemporary American music culture.
