Variety reports that Wes Craven (who directed the original) will return to direct Scream 4, which has just been locked in with a release date of April 15th, 2011.
Officially returning to the series will be Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courtney Cox-Arquette, though they'll be joined by a whole batch of new folks who haven't even been casted yet.
After awhile this series began to bore me. Maybe bringing back Wes Craven will add some "pep to its step."
Hmmmm....We shall see...
