Rewind Wednesday: Home Alone

Season Greetings and Happy Holidays!!

For this month on the Director's Cut we will be showing some throwback holiday flicks in honor of the Holiday season. So today's Rewind Wednesday is none other than Home Alone.

This 1990 Christmas film would catapult young Macaulay Culkin into a household name. Not only did it create a successful sequel, but other studios were left to duplicate its winning formula to lesser degrees. An 8- year-old, who is accidentally left behind while his family flies to France for Christmas, has to defend his home against idiotic burglars. Directed by Chris Columbus, the film also featured Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, and the late John Candy. This film would result into the third highest grossing film of all time.

Now after this film did you not have the sudden urge to want to be with your family? I sure did even despite all of the stress and commotion. Well lets see what other's think as well:

Do you enjoy spending the holidays with your family?
__ YES

__ No, its too stressful

__ Sometimes

Let us know what you think!!

'Home Alone' is one of my favorite movies of all-time; the movie can come on the dead of Summer and I will watch it. Though I'm not much about celebrating holidays, I do enjoy my family, so it's all good.
